Job Title:                 Social Media Coordinator 

Do you love live sports entertainment AND social media? This position combines both of those things!

Sask Entertainment Group (SEG) and the Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Club is looking for a creative, sports and social media obsessed person to join our team for the position of Social Media Coordinator. This exciting opportunity offers a unique role to serve as the main voice of Saskatchewan’s professional lacrosse club through social media, website, mobile app, and several other mediums.

The social media coordinator will work closely with our creative and marketing department to deliver content on all of our social and digital channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

This role requires a creative, self-motivated, trustworthy, innovative person with a true passion for sports.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Managing all social media channels
  • Creating and implementing content strategies
  • Coordinating, reviewing, and publishing content
  • Providing live coverage of games on social media channels
  • Providing regular updates on players, prospects, and staff.
  • Graphic design experience is an asset (adobe creative cloud)
  • Assist in creative and strategic marketing planning
  • Administering player and statistical information

Other duties may include:

  • Writing and distributing media releases
  • Filming, editing, and producing video features is also an asset
  • Editing and distributing game highlights
  • Creating and providing media kits, stat packs, and rosters for game days

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exceptional literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of lacrosse, preferably the NLL.
  • Experience in adobe creative suite is an asset, but not required (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Indesign, After Effects, etc.)
  • Ability to work long, irregular hours, game days, weekends, holidays, community events, travel as required.
  • Fluent and active in/on social media, current trends, pop culture
  • Experience in the sports & entertainment industry is an asset
  • Team oriented, ability to work well and collaborate with others.
  • Proven oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Creative and innovative team player with a cooperative attitude.

Job Title:         Ticket Sales Executive – Sask Entertainment Group

Sask Entertainment Group (SEG) is looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our ticket sales team. SEG owns and operates the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League and the Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League, both playing home games at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about sharing sports with others. Your job will include coordinating group sales, corporate staff events at games, selling and managing season ticket member packages, providing excellent customer service to our fans, and encouraging people to come out and enjoy a night of live sports entertainment!

As a member of our Sales Team, you will be involved in all aspects of developing and implementing the overall sales strategy. In cooperation and coordination with many key stakeholders both internal and external of Sask. Entertainment Group, the successful applicant will understand the importance of building relationships.

The Sales Executive will create an impact through:

  • Developing new sales leads
  • Managing group, membership, and suite accounts
  • Creating opportunity for season tickets, flex packs, group and single-game ticket sales
  • Maintaining and facilitating payment plans
  • Providing support in ticket sales and services like seat relocations and other customer service requirements
  • Meet and exceed both weekly and monthly sales goals

This opportunity is for someone who wants to step into the sports and entertainment industry. 2 years of sales experience is preferred but not required for consideration. We are looking for someone with an interest in marketing and sales, with strong communication and organizational skills. Related experience in ticket sales through Ticketmaster or related ticketing platforms would be considered a strong asset. Job Title:            Limo Driver

The Saskatchewan Rush are looking for a part-time limousine driver to transport fans and VIP’s to different events and games!

Saskatchewan’s professional lacrosse team has immediate openings for a casual limo driver. The driver would be responsible for safely transporting staff and fans to Rush games, community and partner events.

Requirements:

  • Class One license with Air Brakes

Qualified applicants must be willing to commit to the demanding schedule of working sports; flexible hours which include game nights, weekends, holidays, and promotional events.
