Nutrien Presents: Grow The Game

Nutrien and The Saskatchewan Rush have partnered together to help "Grow the Game" of lacrosse, Canada's National Summer Sport, across Saskatchewan.

Origins of Lacrosse, Episode 1

Initiatives include:

  • Rush players, Jeremy Thompson and Mark Matthews, will visit with youth from the White Buffalo Youth Lodge throughout the season to touch on the importance lacrosse to their ancestors. The mission and vision of White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) is dedicated to improving the quality of life and health for children, youth, young adults and their families in the inner city through integrated, holistic support services.
  • Every youth who participates in the program will receive a Rush Goodie bag, courtesy of Nutrien, along with a free ticket to an upcoming home game, including a limo ride to and from the game as part of the Rush MVP Experience.
  • Additionally, the Rush and Nutrien will come together to produce a three-part series on the Origins of Lacrosse spotlighting Jeremy Thompson and the importance of the sport to the aboriginal community.
