
2017 finals rematch set for round one in Saskatchewan
Apr 20, 2025Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush will host Georgia Swarm in the first round of the 2025 NLL Playoffs presented by PlayNow.
The single elimination quarterfinal game takes place on Co-op Field in SaskTel Centre on Saturday, April 26th at 7:30PM.
Saskatchewan beat Georgia 8-7 in the regular season in their lone matchup down in Duluth.

Saskatchewan and Georgia will meet for the second time ever in the postseason during the 2025 NLL Playoffs presented by PlayNow, giving Rush Nation a rematch of the 2017 finals between the Rush and Swarm.
Winners of the single-game quarterfinals will advance to the best-of-three semifinal round starting the weekend of May 1-4.

This is the first time in six years that SaskTel Centre has hosted a playoff game, with the Rush holding a 6-2 all time record on home floor in the post season, with both championship wins in 2016 and 2018 ending on prairie soil.
