Game Preview – January 26th @ Calgary Roughnecks

Saskatoon, SK – The Saskatchewan Rush are in Calgary this Friday for their second meeting with the Roughnecks this season.

Coming into the game, Ryan Keenan leads the team in all major categories with 41 points, 19 goals, and 22 assists. Zach Manns (18g, 15a) and Austin Shanks (13g, 20a) are tied for second in team scoring with 33 points. Tyler Pace leads the scoring for the Roughnecks with 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists). The key matchup this weekend will be on faceoffs, with Jake Naso and Justin Inacio in a tie for third in the NLL with matching 68% FO% on the season.

This will be the 28th meeting between the two clubs since 2016, with the Rush holding a 17-11 record over the Roughnecks in that time. The teams faced off previously on December 6th, a 16-13 win for the Rush with 4 goals from Robert Church and 7 points from Austin Shanks. Keep an eye out for Robert Church, who has scored 49 goals and 114 points in 25 regular-season games against the Roughnecks.
