SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan Rush have signed Mike Messenger to a new deal.
On Tuesday, GM Derek Keenan inked the 2016 3rd overall pick to a one-year contract.
Messenger, entering his seventh season with Saskatchewan, set a career high in assists last year with 16 and also a career best 53.1 percent at the dot.
The 29-year-old from Surrey, BC has played 109 games in the NLL, amassing a total of 46 goals, 60 assists and 152 penalty minutes in the regular season and playoffs.
Messenger is one of three returnees from the 2018 championship team, that defeated the Rochester Knighthawks in the final.
