PREVIEW: Saskatchewan vs Buffalo (Game 3)

Buffalo, NY – The Saskatchewan Rush will face the Buffalo Bandits in game three of the 2025 NLL Finals presented by PlayNow on Saturday, May 24th at 2:30PM.  

Austin Shanks scored three goals and added five assists in game two, his same stat line as the series opener, but this time the Rush picked up the 11-10 win on Co-op Field. Frank Scigliano made 40 saves in the victory, while Zach Manns chipped in with a six-point game.

GAME TWO RECAP

Shanks leads the NLL playoffs with 16 goals and 30 points, which are both franchise records. Zach Manns sits second in scoring for the Rush this postseason with nine goals and 16 assists. 

Saskatchewan is 1-0 all time in game three’s during the playoffs, with their lone win coming in 2018 over Matt Vinc and the Rochester Knighthawks, 15-10 to win their third championship in league history. 

Dhane Smith leads the Bandits with 24 points including 13 in games one and two of the NLL Finals. Goaltender Matt Vinc has a .802 save percentage in the 2025 NLL Finals, while Paul Dawson, Steve Priolo, Nick Weiss and Cam Wyers have blocked a combined 48 shots in the playoffs.
