PREVIEW: Saskatchewan VS Vancouver (Feb.10)

Saskatoon, SK –– The Saskatchewan Rush (2-4) and Vancouver Warriors (2-6) will meet for the second time this season on Saturday (Feb.10) at Rogers Arena. 

 

The Rush are coming off a 10-9 win over Panther City Lacrosse Club on Co-op Field. Robert Church scored four times in an eight-point effort. He now leads the Rush with 34 points this season. Zach Manns and Ryan Keenan each had five-point games. Keenan has 21 assists this year to lead the club. Frank Scigliano made 42 saves in the win, bumping his save percentage up to .795 this season.

 

Phenomenal Frank: Saskatchewan Rush goaltender Frank Scigliano has the third best save percentage in the NLL this season. 

 

Vancouver went east to Georgia and fell 12-11 in overtime. Former Rush netminder Aaron Bold made 39 saves in the losing effort, while Keegan Bal led the teams with two goals and three assists. On defence, Owen Grant was a beast, scooping up nine loose balls and causing four turnovers. 

 

Heating Up: After a slow start to the season, Keegan Bal has eight goals and 17 points in his last three games.
