Rush Acquire Connor Kearnan From the Oshawa FireWolves

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have acquired Connor Kearnan, Jaxon Fridge and a second-round pick in the 2026 NLL Entry Draft.

Holden was drafted by the Rush 4th overall in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft. In 92 games with Saskatchewan, the defender recorded 462 Loose Balls and 96 Caused Turnovers. Garlent served as alternate captain during the 2025-26 season.

“It’s a difficult one for us. Great leader and defender. But in the NLL sometimes careers outside of the game can take priority. Holden is starting his policing career in Ontario, making it very difficult to commute for most of the Rush games." Said Rush GM Derek Keenan. "We wish him nothing but the best in Oshawa and in his new career. We are very pleased with the value we received in return. Connor Kearnan is a proven righty forward who plays in the dirty areas. Fridge is a very athletic defender with transition skills and a year of NLL experience under his belt. He’s a good fit within our system.”

Connor Kearnan was taken by the FireWolves in the third round of the 2026 NLL Dispersal Draft. In 18 games with the Black Bears last year Kearnan recorded 21 goals and 28 assists. Fridge was drafted in the third round of the 2025 NLL Draft by the Firewolves and appeared in 17 games last season, recording 64 loose balls and 10 caused turnovers.
