Rush Re-sign Robert Church and Ryan Keenan

The Saskatchewan Rush have re-signed Robert Church and Ryan Keenan ahead of the 2026/27 NLL Season.
“We’re obviously very happy to have Robert and Ryan back for another season." Said GM and Co-Head Coach Derek Keenan. "Free agency can be very enticing for players and people of their quality so we appreciate their ongoing commitment to the Rush and the ultimate goal of winning the NLL Championship. The leadership they provide to a young core is difficult to replace.”
Keenan, who was named captain in 2023, has been with the team since being drafted first overall in the 2016 NLL Draft. Last season, the captain set career highs in goals (35), assists (60) and points (95). Leading the team in assists and points. Keenan was a part of the Rush's 2018 Championship roster.
Church has been with the Rush since its days in Edmonton and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played, goals, assists and points. Last season, the veteran led the team in goals with 37 and finished third in team scoring with 84 points. Church has been a part of three championship teams with the franchise in 2015, 2016 and 2018.
