Oct 1, 2026Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have signed their 2026 first-round pick, Aaron Toguri, for the 2026 NLL Season.
Toguri was drafted 8th overall earlier this month and previously played for the Cobourg Kodiaks over the summer. The defender was named the MSL Rookie of the Year during the summer lacrosse season and was previously named the OJLL Defender of the Year in 2025.
"We felt we needed a guy to come in and fill a role on the back end." Said Rush GM Derek Keenan. "He's super fast, athletic and plays with a bit of an edge, which is something we felt we needed. We felt he's just a good fit for our team and our system."
