Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have signed forward Sam Firth and defenseman Reed Kurtz for the 2026/27 season.

Firth recorded 23 points in 18 games for the Ottawa Blackbears last season. The forward posted career highs with the FireWolves in 2024 with 20 goals and 47 points in 18 games, alongside 8 goals and 15 points in 5 playoff games as the FireWolves made the NLL Finals.

Reed Kurtz appeared in 18 games with the Blackbears last season. The lefty recorded 97 loose balls, 117 faceoff wins, and 8 caused turnovers in the 2025/26 season.

Both players were originally selected by the Rush in the 2026 NLL Dispersal Draft.
