Saskatchewan Rush Re-sign Mike Messenger

Messenger was drafted by the Rush 3rd overall in the 2016 NLL Draft and helped the team win the Champions Cup in 2018. Over his nine seasons with the Rush, Messenger has compiled 64 goals and 156 points in 154 regular-season games. He is also the Rush franchise leader in Loose Balls (1105), PIMS (214), and blocked shots (81) while sitting second all-time in caused turnovers (215).
Messenger remains an important member of the Rush's defence. Last season, he contributed 7 goals and 20 points in transition for the team. The defender led the team in blocked shots and 131 loose balls while adding 15 caused turnovers through the 2025/26 season.
