Sep 21, 2023

On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Rush announced that goaltender Frank Scigliano has signed a two-year contract.

Acquired via trade in the offseason, the Coquitlam, BC product has spent 11 seasons in the National Lacrosse League, racking up almost 6300 minutes of playing time while making over 4000 saves.

"We believe that Frank Scigliano is a top goalie in this league and to have him sign for two years is huge. We feel he will be a player who gives us consistency night in and night out and in the league you need consistency to win games, make the playoffs and ultimately compete for championships. We are excited to get him into camp and watch him grow with our up and coming defensive group." - Head Coach Jimmy Quinlan

Scigliano has been in the playoffs in nine of his eleven years in the league and has posted a 11.54 goals against average over the course of his career, which began in 2012.

The Rush will open up the preseason on Saturday, November 25th against the Calgary Roughnecks in Moose Jaw.
