Saskatoon SK – The Saskatchewan Rush selected five players in the 2025 NLL Entry Draft today.

 

The team’s first pick came at 13th overall, with GM Derek Keenan selected Levi Verch. Verch, the 6’2 left-handed defender from Victoria, BC, spent the 2025 season with Saint Joseph’s Hawks recording 28 caused turnovers in 15 games.

 

Next up for the Rush was the second-round pick, 22nd overall, selecting jack of all trades, Julien Belair from the Whitby Warriors. In 37 games with the Warriors in 2025, Belair had 30 goals and 56 assists.

 

With the 46th overall pick, the Rush selected offensive threat from Duke University, Andrew McAdorey. The midfielder from Manorville, NY tallied 28 goals and 9 assists in just 19 games at Duke during the 2024 season.

 

In the 4th round, GM Derek Keenan added a towering goaltender to the list from the Nepean Knights, Mathias Houlahan standing tall at 6'5. Taking the starting position with the Knights in 2025 after Thomas Kiayzk’s departure, Houlahan captured 16 wins of his 22 starts.

 

With their final pick of the 2025 Entry Draft the Rush added homegrown talent, Dagan Carlson with the 88th overall pick. Carlson, hailing from Melfort, SK has spent his four college years with Maryville University as a midfielder.
